About us
The Limes Residential Care Home has been caring for the elderly for over thirty years and has established an enviable reputation for excellent care.
Inspected by CQC in January 2020, The Limes received an overall rating of GOOD but was rated OUTSTANDING in Care. CQC said, “There is a strong emphasis at the home on the importance of supporting people to maintain their health, mobility and independence”.
Family is at the very heart of The Limes, originally opened by Alan and Angela Dewen, who were frustrated at their inability to find a residential care home with a real family feel for Alan’s parents, deciding there was only one option open to them, create their own and thus The Limes was born, with its first residents, Violet and Ted Dewen.
The Limes is now owned and run by Violet and Ted’s grandchildren, Myles and Alistair.
